boiling oceans…

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

In a recent Bill Maher show dated October 19, 2007, talking with John Edwards about the polar caps melting, Bill mentioned that 80% of solar UV is reflected by polar caps and that when the ice is gone, the oceans will boil. And that 23% of the North pole has disappeared in the last 2 years since Gores’ movie, ‘An Inconvenient Truth.’

There are many websites and commentators who say global warming isn’t based on facts, that it has happened in the recent past and that its all a political game and yet, they seem to ignore the very weird weather we have been experiencing over the last 30-40 years or so. I would rather we err on the side of caution and TRY to slow or stop it, than to simply ignore it all as hype…too late, to find out the sky was truly falling.

Fruit Flies Prove that Alcohol Makes People Gay

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

That’ll teach us not to go drinking with fruit flies unless we are up for a novel experience.

drunkfly.jpg“Fruit flies that develop homosexual tendencies when drunk may help reveal how alcohol loosens human sexual inhibitions, claim researchers. Researchers got the flies drunk on the fumes of an ethanol-doused cotton pad placed at the base of the chamber, and filmed them using a camera held above the Flypub’s transparent ceiling. Male Drosophila will normally only court females, following them and vibrating their wings in a courtship “song”, before attempting to copulate. The first time they were exposed to alcohol, groups of male flies became noticeably intoxicated but kept themselves to themselves. But with repeated doses of alcohol on successive days, homosexual courtship became common. From the third day onwards, the flies were forming “courtship chains” of amorous males. But do fruit flies really provide a good model for what happens in the inebriated human brain? Heberlein, who works on both flies and mice, believes they do. “What is cool is that there is such a similarity,” she says. “I am surprised by the parallels.” – Source

HydroPak Fuel Cell Could Replace Generators, Batteries

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

These are still very pricey, but over time, like electronics, they will become ubiquitous.

fchydro.jpg“The HydroPak fuel cell is a portable power generator that can provide up to 14 hours of power with a single disposable cartridge. The $20 cartridges are water-activated, and have a shelf life of several years. The device, which is still in beta, is relatively inexpensive for a fuel cell product, costing around $400 in addition to the disposable cartridges. The HydroPak also has zero emissions, is lightweight, and operates with minimal noise. A water-activated cartridge can crank out 400 Watts through an AC outlet and two USB ports, so it can be used to power everything from portable lights, notebook computers, portable televisions and ad hoc communications networks, for a total of 14 continuous hours. – Source

Magnetic Field Can Reduce Swelling

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

This is excellent vindication for the claims that magnetic fields can influence the body.

magnetfield.jpg“A recent study by University of Virginia researchers demonstrates that the use of an acute, localized static magnetic field of moderate strength can result in significant reduction of swelling when applied immediately after an inflammatory injury.In the study, the hind paws of anesthetized rats were treated with inflammatory agents in order to simulate tissue injury. Magnetic therapy was then applied to the paws. The research results indicate that magnets can significantly reduce swelling if applied immediately after tissue trauma. Since muscle bruising and joint sprains are the most common injuries worldwide, this discovery has potentially significant implications. “If an injury doesn’t swell, it will heal faster – and the person will experience less pain and better mobility,” says Skalak. This means that magnets might be used much the way ice packs and compression are now used for everyday sprains, bumps, and bruises, but with more beneficial results. The ready availability and low cost of this treatment could produce huge gains in worker productivity and quality of life. In their initial study, magnets of 70 milliTesla (mT) field strength – about 10 times the strength of the common refrigerator variety – were placed near the rats’ blood vessels. Quantitative measurements of blood vessel diameter were taken both before and after exposure to the static magnetic fields – the force created by the magnets. Morris and Skalak found that the force had a significant effect: the vessels that had been dilated constricted, and the constricted vessels dilated, implying that the magnetic field could induce vessel relaxation in tissues with constrained blood supply, ultimately increasing blood flow.” – Source

Skin Cancer cream

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

I had a report on KeelyNet many months ago about this miracle cure for skin cancer. Now the inventor is receiving accolades and that is just as it should be.

“Philippine doctors and world class inventor awarded for innovative topical cream to treat skin cancer. Each year, millions of people all over the world are diagnosed with the most common forms of skin cancer – basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. World cancer societies says tens of millions of new cases of skin cancer are diagnosed each year. Sunlight provides much of what is beneficial and even necessary to life and good health, but tanning and burning are not among these benefits. Sunburn and ultraviolet (UV) light can damage the skin and this damage can lead to skin cancer. A skin cancer cream known as the DeBCC was developed and studied by Philippine General Hospital (PGH) doctors in partnership with a famous inventor and won the top prize during the 93rd annual convention of the Clinical Congress of the American College of Surgeons held in New Orleans, Louisiana, the most prestigious forum for the presentation of research and innovations in surgical treatment in the world. The Philippine entry, the DeBCC, formulated from the extract of cashew nuts, was voted the “Best Scientific Exhibit for 2007.” – Source

You can buy this skin cancer cream through their website at;

12/26/05 – Quezon City Inventor says No to P3.5 billion offer ($65,420,560.75 USD) – A barber-turned-inventor from Quezon City refused an offer of P3.5 billion for the patent of his invention, a cream based on cashew nut oil that rids users of warts, moles and other skin growths. He said he turned down the offer by two multinational drug firms for the outright purchase of his patent for his RCC herbal cream preparation, which could have assured him of P1 million in interest income a day for the rest of his life. The De la Cruz family runs the Amazing Touch Co. and has been conducting free treatments for residents of depressed areas, particularly in Zambales, where wild cashew nuts abound. Out of curiosity, he pounded a wild cashew nut into a paste, and tasted it. He subsequently sustained an inflamed tongue and lips, feeling the sensation of heat traveling through them. He forgot the incident for a time, working as a barber by day and studying by night. One day, De la Cruz noticed that the warts on one of his regular customers were slowly disappearing. He asked what the man used to rid himself of the warts, to which the customer replied, “cashew nut.” De la Cruz said the heat generated by the cashew nut oil can be compared to a laser that burns off any unwanted skin growth. “The heat generated by the oil kills bacteria and other unwanted organisms in the skin,” he said, noting that he added a “secret ingredient” to his herbal cream preparation. De la Cruz also has another international award-winning invention, the DeBCC cream, which is used for the treatment of basal cell carcinoma (BCC), the most common type of skin cancer. The cream contains a formulation of cashew nut extracts and other Philippine herbs. “By mere application of the cream, with no radical and unacceptable surgeries or procedures, 14 patients with skin cancer were cured in 16 weeks. No recurrences were reported,” he said. – Article Source and RCC Cream Amazing Touch Website

His parasite theory stirs a revolution

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

It annoys me when science catches up to alternative science without giving credit. Here is a recent report claiming worms are at the heart of many illnesses.

Isn’t this EXACTLY what Dr. Hulda Clark has been saying for years? And she even developed the ZAPPER to cure the problem by killing the eggs and larvae.

As I recall, her premise was the worm eggs get into our body, hatch and excrete growth hormone to make the larvae grow. But they produce TOO MUCH of this growth hormone which stimulates human cells to produce mutations and illness such as cancer.

Dr. Clark’s Zapper unit electrocutes the eggs and larvae to cleanse the system and heal the health issues.

“”What if I told you,” Joel Weinstock said, “there were countries where the doctors had never seen hay fever?” It is another piece of evidence, another “aha” moment in the global medical mystery that Weinstock — the chief of gastroenterology and hepatology at Tufts-New England Medical Center — has narrowed down to one chief suspect: the worms. Weinstock, 59, specializes in studying why immunological diseases – everything from hay fever and asthma to diabetes and multiple sclerosis – are on the rise in developed countries but remain relatively uncommon in undeveloped countries. He believes these diseases, many of which were almost unheard of 100 years ago, are because of changes in our environment, a lack of exposure to something. And he thinks that something may be the worms.” – Source

The Bear, the Eagle and The Dragon

Posted by keelynet on January 5, 2008

chinatroops.jpgLou Dobbs recently had a segment about ‘Red Storm Rising’, detailing how the Chinese are using their profits to buildup their military and have built satellite killers ostensibly to prevent overflights of their country but which can be used to knock out any satellite they target.

Additionally, there were scenes of troop and warcraft buildups. It’s a bit scary (as if we don’t have ENOUGH to worry about), because I see a link to the prediction of Nostradamus.

Do you remember the prediction? It said the Eagle (USA) would team up with the Bear (Russia) to fight the Dragon (Crescent/Muslims and now apparently Chinese).

“A book, written in the early seventies, predicted that Communism in Russia would collapse and fade from the scene without a war. Now you have to remember that anyone in those days who even suggested that the “Cold War” would be resolved by anything other than a Hot War using nukes was laughed out of town. Most everyone thought the battle between Democracy and Communism would culminate in a nuclear exchange and the Third World War – and probably the annihilation of the human species.” – Source 1 and this one with more detail – Source 2

I could not find the specific quote in Nostradamus’ Quatrains but here is the closest;

“”And all these Eastern Kings will be chased, overthrown and exterminated, but not altogether, by means of the forces of the Kings of the North, and because of the drawing near of our age through the three secretly united in the search for death, treacherously laying traps for one another. This renewed Triumvirate will last for seven years, and the renown of this sect will extend around the world. The sacrifice of the hole and immaculate Wafer will be sustained. Then the Lords of Aquilon, two in number, will be victorious over the Easterners, and so great a noise and bellicose tumult will they make amongst them that all the East will tremble in terror of these brothers, yet not brothers, of Aquilon.” – Nostradamus, Epistle to Henry II. – Source
