I’m not sure what happened on my XP but it was probably an update from Microsoft which changed a setting that caused some programs to want to update my Office 2003. That produced an error requesting SKU011.CAB.
Well, I didn’t have my registered CD since it came bundled with my computer, so I found hundreds if not thousands of pages parroting the same fix. It didn’t work for me.
So after days of pondering, I finally found a fix that involved a few hours to collect all the data. Turns out you don’t need, just SKU011.CAB but a host of other CAB files. Once I got all those installed, my Office 2003 installation completed and I no longer have the problem.
