actually, you can get advice from other sites. and repairpal charges for pro advice, when some others do not. here’s a couple i use: ecarservices.com (free), driverside.com(charge)

Actually, DriverSide doesn’t charge for their services. They have repair cost estimates, expert advice and articles on how to reduce the total cost of owning your car (maintenance tips, etc.). However, they don’t charge for anything as far as I know. You can try out their car repair calculator after selecting your car model on the site.
