No so sure about that. He's had it in the car for two years now (city and highway miles) with no ill effects or loss of performance. On an old high mile Ford I would expect engine problems even without the Mylege Mastre.

I READ WITH INTEREST ABOUT FRED CRAIN'S MYLEGE MASTRE. I NEW A PERSON THAT HAD A 83 SEVILLE THAT HAD A CYLINDER CUT OUT SET UP, FROM THE FACTORY, WHAT A NIGHTMARE, IT NEVER DID WORK RIGHT, PICE OF JUNK. THE PROBLEM WITH THE MYLEGE MASTRE IS AN ENGINE IS ALSO AN AIR PUMP UNLESS YOU KEEP THE RIGHT VALVES OPEN, NO FUEL, BUT THE STARVED CYLINDERS WILL PUMP EXTRA AIR THROUGH THE ENGINE, THE AIR FLOW METER AND THE OX SENSER WILL TELL THE ENGINE CONTROL COMPUTER THAT THE ENGINE IS RUNNING LEAN WHICH WILL PUT EXTRA FUEL IN THE CYLINDERS THAT HAVE ACTIVE INJECTORS, THEY WILL RUN RICH, FOUL THE PLUGS, AND WASH THE LUBE OFF THE CYLINDER WALLS.
ALL BAD.
