Water + Carbon = Enriched Hydrogen to run your car

Posted by keelynet on November 12, 2007

An interesting new development about using carbon and water to produce a hydrogen fuel you can burn in your engine. It appears to only need the conversion kit installed and the inventor claims the carbon rods only need to be replaced once every year and a half. Always, the answers are new high dollar vehicles whether hybrids using electric and combustion engines, or electric rechargeables or fuel cells to power electric, etc… I like this one because it allows a conversion of existing vehicles, much cheaper, efficient and ecologically sound than dumping all the cars and trucks out here now.

carhydrogen.jpgSAFE, Inexpensive Hydrogen Fuel For Your Car? - “Back in May I wrote an article for Green Options called “The Perfect Hydrogen Vacation,” and it was centered around a young Galesburg, IL college student by the name of James Hunt. His claim to fame is development of a hydrogen fuel generation system that would power internal combustion engines with hydrogen. To say the least, I got a few negative comments about Jim’s invention, mainly that it was nothing more than an attempt at a perpetual motion machine. Well, Jim, shown in the Register-Mail photo at the left with a fire engine he hopes to convert into a hydrogen fueled mobile power unit, has moved out of the lab at Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg to his own plant in nearby Monmouth, IL with 15 employees. All that, he says, in a period of 9 months from concept to reality. The company’s name, by the way is Akvo Energy America, and the shop is full of engines undergoing conversion to his hydrogen fuel system. Part of his plan is to fuel power plants and desalinization facilities with hydrogen. He plans to use the fire engine as an emergency portable desalinization unit, something sorely needed in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina ravaged that city. His process extracts hydrogen from water via what he calls plasmatic induction, a form of electrolysis, using electricty to zap water in a small reservoir tank which releases hydrogen bubbles. The bubbles, of course, become the fuel, a never-ending source as long as drinking water is in the small reserve tank. It’s a bit more complicated than that, he uses reserve batteries and solar cells along with non-radioactive carbon rods in the system. Hunt claims one fill-up of rods will power a vehicle for a year-and-a-half; the emissions, of course, are water vapor.” - Source

EcoWatts overunity device…

Posted by keelynet on November 12, 2007

According to the Guardian article, it seems this company has been making the claim since 2003 when the independent tester, using their test equipment, failed to find overunity.

energywatervort.jpg“EcoWatts “free energy” device rebuffed, BBC falls for it - EcoWatts and its fake free energy gadget is back in the limelight again, with the BBC Breakfast Show falling hook, line, and sinker in an interview with the company’s “CEO” Paul Calver. Calver stated that “we’re still getting to the question of why it works,” explaining to a BBC presenter his bewilderment at his very own creation. The response from the interviewer? “The point is it does.” Unfortunately, the point is that it almost certainly doesn’t. Ben Goldacre used his excellent Bad Science Guardian column this week to dig up some dirt on the dodgy company, and managed to find a scientist who gave his stamp of approval to a similar free energy gadget four years back: “Using the apparatus provided, it’s true, this scientist could get incredible results: the meters would read zero, and yet water would boil in around five minutes. Because the meters provided weren’t working.” The company that provided this former gadget along with the “broken” meters? EcoWatts.” (via zpenergy.com) - Source

Guardian Excerpts - “I contacted a working scientist who was previously reported - in the Telegraph in 2003 - to have independently validated a similar device from the same company. He wishes to remain anonymous, because he is bored with getting long conspiracy theory emails from free-energy cranks, but he is now a leading electrochemistry researcher at a Russell Group university. He was employed to do a single, very specific test, using measuring equipment provided by Ecowatts, and the conclusions in his report were very guarded: “Using the apparatus supplied by Gardner Watts and the procedures of analysis suggested by the company there appears [my italics] to be an energy gain in the system.” Using the apparatus provided, it’s true, this scientist could get incredible results: the meters would read zero, and yet water would boil in around five minutes. Because the meters provided weren’t working. The problem stems from the difference between measuring alternating current and direct current. Stick with me, science is fun when you’re making people look stupid. The meters he was given were to measure direct current: there was a diode in the circuit (this is a “one way street” for electricity), so theoretically the current could only flow one way, making it DC. Unfortunately, at high voltages the special, magic free energy cell went into “oscillation”: that meant that the current was alternating at high frequencies that were beyond the threshold of the diode, so beyond its ability to control the electrons. Therefore the current could flow in both directions, therefore it was alternating current, and therefore the current measurement was invalid. I speculate that the “inventor” made the same mistake, and I can honestly say I find the little histories of these devices fascinating. Anyway, in these tests, the investigator saw the current steadily increase with applied voltage and then fall to almost zero as the system went in to oscillation. An “energy gain, breaking the laws of physics,” was only recorded when the system was oscillating in such a way that the measurement of “energy going in” simply became invalid. So did our man try measuring the current properly? Yes, he did. He placed a magnetic choke on the system, which prevented the system going into oscillation and removed any energy gain, and also measured the (large) alternating current with his own meters in the circuit. No energy gain.” - Source

Endwendado?

Posted by keelynet on November 9, 2007

Dwendes are mischievous Mexican dwarfs who are believed to live in the caves and mines up in Zacatecas. They are believed to play tricks on people and cause problems just for the heck of it. Endwendado means infested with dwendes. I wonder if I’m not infested these last few days though in truth its my own fault.

Driving my motorcycle through Santa Cruz on a dirt road under repair, I hit a slick spot at about 5mph and turned my 125 Honda over. Damn, embarrassing more than anything but no one saw it (wouldn’t care if they did), so I picked it up, wiped the mud off my scraped knee and checked the bike to see if there were any problems.

A couple of fine scratches on the cowling but now the gear shift won’t go backwards, only forward. It’s always been tight so something got bent I guess. Will take it in and see what it will cost to fix it though getting too chilly to ride it.

It was my fault for not driving over a few blocks over to avoid the street repair, but lucked out with only knee scratches, a few bruises and my right arm is sore, but better now since it happened on Saturday. Two blocks further two guys I knew called me over to chat with them and their rancher friend. We all had a couple of beers, joked and chatted on this pleasant afternoon and I drove on home before it got dark. Not smart to ride a motorcycle here at night, just dangerous with holes in the road, cows/horses in the road or on weekends drunks. So I don’t tempt the fates.

My little town got cable so the matronly woman trying to sell me on it with fast spanish was pleased when I signed up for it on trial for a couple of months. They offer 150 channels, telephone and internet (2mb) connection for about $70 a month. Seeing that I lived alone she offered me sex…gotta love Mexico and NO, I didn’t take her up on it.

Noticed the spare house keys I had on the motorcycle keychain were gone…rats…so put my truck house keys on the motorcycle keyring with the intent to have copies made. Of course I forgot and took off to Guadalajara in my truck, not realizing I’d locked my house with the keys still on the motorcycle which was indoors. RATS! Got home from Guad about 11PM and had to go wake Renee the locksmith.

He at first wouldn’t answer the door til I called his name. Said you never know when someone knocks on your door at night. But when he heard me, he knew it was ok. Drove over to my house and he popped my iron security screen door ($100 custom including installation!) and took about 20 minutes to get my inner steel door open. Total charge, 60 pesos ($6) so I gave him 70 and he was pleased. Nice guy and he speaks some english. Now what would a locksmith charge in the states for such a late call???

I attribute these little problems with being distracted with a VHS to DVD conversion project that is more complex than I intended when the editing is taken into account. In addition to the Physics of Crystals DVD, I will soon have 15 additional alternative science tech DVDs and possibly MP3s of them to listen to.

Something to watch out for. They are called ‘energy vampires’ and are the instant on features used by most TVs and electronics. In Mexico, we pay our electric bill once every two months. When I first moved here, my bill was $16 every two months! I had a stereo attached to my big TV, DVD player, VHS player, a laptop and this desktop. Over the 6 years, the only one thing that has been added, a 2.6.ghz desktop and yet my power bill jumped up to $120 every two months. I thought the meter was running fast or isn’t calibrated since these increasing bills started when they changed the meter out a couple of years ago.

As I wrote, I had added NOTHING except the new server and I keep everything turned off except the UPS units for the two computer. Despite my charts shown to the electric company, they refused to change the meter again. So should I use a supermagnet and slow the spin? Or bypass the meter as many do? Naw, something is causing this. No taps by neighbors, etc..

Since I turn off everything except the 200Watt stereo which has always been on even with the low bills, I couldn’t find a cause for the excessive power bills, so this last month, I turned off this 200Watt power amplifier everytime I wasn’t using it and this 2 month period my bill was about $55!!! I’m not sure what has changed inside the amplifier as it has always been on and never pulled this kind of power before, but it works fine, now I’ve just put up a powerstrip to turn everything off with one button unless I’m using it.

Uri Geller and the Mysterious “11-11″ Phenomenon

Posted by keelynet on November 6, 2007

Synchronicities, coincidences, deja vu, what are the connections? What do they signify? Are they signs that we are being ‘guided’ when we open ourselves up to see them?

111173.jpg“According to my call records, I spoke with Uri Geller, star of the new NBC TV series “Phenomenon,” on the phone for the first time on Saturday, October 20th, 2007, for about eleven minutes. Uri called because he had heard about an article I had published with the American Chronicle about how the CIA planned to covertly study his mental powers in the early 1970s. That conversation appears to have triggered a small dose of strangeness, which is the subject of this article. Apparently my conversation with Uri Geller had unleashed the so-called “11-11″ effect. Uri writes about 11-11 at his website, “I started experiencing this rather bizarre occurrence when I was forty years old, at first I thought they were coincidences, I would stand with my back to a digital clock and something made me turn around and I would notice that the time would be 11:11. These incidents intensified I would be checked into hotel rooms on floor 11 room 1111. I started noticing these digits on computers, microwave ovens, cars, documents, etc. I decided to write about it on my website. I was immediately inundated by hundreds of emails from all around the world. Individuals were telling me their own 11:11 stories, almost always saying ‘I thought it only happened to me.’ It is difficult for me to decipher what this is all about but my intuition tells me its positive.” Uri advises, “I believe that people who have constant contact with the ‘11-11′ phenomena have some type of a positive mission to accomplish. It is still a mystery to me what it is that we all have to do or why are we all being gathered and connected together, but it is very real and tangible, I feel that it is immensely positive, almost like there is a thinking entity sending us these physical and visual signs from the universe. - Source

Quotes from the Nine Insights;

“Each coincidence is a test. You can’t learn until you pass the test. If you don’t get it the first time, you get successive opportunities, each with a firmer influence. Each time is a louder wake up call. It is up to each of us to recognize when the coincidence occurs and try to find the message that is being communicated to us… We must understand that all the day to day occurrences that we experience happen for a reason. We are beginning to see messages in the happenings around us which lead us to a higher meaning.”

“The 7th insight deals with the process of consciously evolving yourself, staying alert to every coincidence, every answer the universe provides for you. Sometimes, when things have a special meaning, they jump out at you, entering your consciousness in a forceful way, coming to you as guidance…When we assume the observer position, it places us IN THE FLOW of evolution, allowing us an opportunity to influence it to our benefit.

The key thing to note here is that we must become aware of these synchronicites and do our best to act on them. They are opportunities to LEARN and GROW.

If we choose not to see or act on them, then we are presented with fewer and fewer growth opportunities. Why would the universal gestalt (groupmind) waste time and effort on creating events for growth of the braindead or closeminded who do not seek to evolve?

A Carbon-Free, Stackable Rental Car

Posted by keelynet on November 6, 2007

This is a great idea whose time has certainly come. The next thing in public transport.

carfold.jpg“The Smart Cities group at the MIT Media Lab is working on two low-cost electric vehicles that it hopes will revolutionize mass transit and help alleviate pollution. Next week, the group will unveil a prototype of its foldable electric scooter at the EICMA Motorcycle Show, in Milan. A prototype for the team’s foldable electric car, called the City Car, is slated to follow next year. The MIT group sees the vehicles as the linchpin in a strategy that aims to mitigate pollution with electric power, expand limited public space by folding and stacking vehicles like shopping carts, and alleviate congestion by letting people rent and return the vehicles to racks located near transportation hubs, such as train stations, airports, and bus depots. At the heart of these vehicles is an omnidirectional robot wheel that the team has developed. The wheel encases an electric-drive motor, as well as suspension, steering, and braking systems. With no engine or mechanical parts between the wheels and the driver’s controls, the system offers great flexibility in design. The driver can, in fact, fold the car up (see below image). Six to eight folded and stacked City Cars can fit into one conventional parking space. General Motors sponsored the development of the car.” - Source

Ron Paul as Gandalf???

Posted by keelynet on November 5, 2007

chriswallace.jpg ronpaulno.jpgThis video really PISSED ME OFF. What a jerk Chris Wallace was with that idiotic question.

Totally twisting Ron Paul’s very reasoned and careful response, by asking Ron Paul if he thinks we should take orders from Al Queda.

But man, Ron Paul strikes back and doesn’t flinch in the least to straighten this jerk out.

gandalph.jpgI could not HELP but be reminded of an angry Gandalph from Lord of the Rings, SMITING the bad guys with TRUTH and JUSTICE! Don’t they look alike???

Outrageous Video - FOX News pundit-wannabe Chris Wallace, proving he is anything but a journalist, literally deprecated Rep. Ron Paul over an answer Paul gave on troop withdrawals from Iraq.

Although put in the form of a question, Wallace said Paul would take his “marching orders from al-Qaeda” to get the U.S. “off the Arabian peninsula.”

Dellschaus’ Flying Machines…

Posted by keelynet on November 4, 2007

Many years ago, when I was heavily involved in UFO studies, every now and then I would hear about a mysterious group called the ‘Sonora Aero Club’. It was very difficult to find any information or details but I did gather they existed in Sonora California in the mid 1800s and were using some kind of flying machine of unknown design.

In discussions with various other researchers, I came across the name Pete Navarro so I called in a couple of favors and found a guy named Jimmy Ward. We made contact and Jimmy kindly provided me with the name and phone number for Pete. Sad to say, Jimmy died a few years ago but he was a wealth of information and had many unusual experiences during his life.

From my contact with Pete, between he and Jimmy, I gathered enough information for the Aero series on KeelyNet which dealt with the mysterious Dellschau manuscripts. These were posted on the KeelyNet BBS that ran from 1988 to 1996. See; Aero 1, Aero 2, Aero 3, Aero 4, Aero 5, Aero 6, Aero 7, Aero 8 and Aero 9. They are old txt files that I need to change to html.

dellschau.jpgThe information described a super light gas with incredible lifting ability which was extracted from coal and called ‘float’. It was much more flammable than hydrogen and appears to be an unknown element below hydrogen on the atomic scale. Only a few people knew the secret of extracting this ‘float’ gas. This gas was used to fly very compact blimps with an undercarriage for passengers and cargo.

There were secret groups at the time and the Sonora Aero Club consisted of inventors and experimenters who swore to never reveal their secrets or to use their technology for commerce, aerial traffic or aerial war on pain of death.

It appears the Sonora Aero Club spawned from a secret group in New York which in turn spawned from a secret group in Germany. The stories are fascinating and ripe for a movie or documentary since there were many airship sightings across the US from about 1850 to 1920 or so. Another excellent book is Wallace Chariton’s “Texas Airship Mystery”. Wally lived near Dallas so he spoke at one of our Vanguard meetings and provided a lot of information from his research.

I am very pleased to hear through Dennis Crenshaw that Pete will compile all his information into a book.

Dennis Crenshaw writes; “I am very pleased to announce that Pete Navarro and I have signed a contract with Anomalist Books (www.anomalistbooks.com ) to publish our MS concerning the acclaimed mysterious artist C.A.A. Dellschau and his strange drawings of futuristic flying machines. The title will be, “The Secrets of Dellschau: The Sonora Aero Club and the flying machines of the 1800s.” Along with the story of Pete’s many years spent breaking the code and then closely studying the secret story hidden by Dellschau in his drawings, the book will contain hundreds of Pete’s personal drawings and color photos taken during his 27 year quest. The book is presently in the design phase. We would like to thank Dennis Stacy and the crew at Anomalist Books for working with us to get this information out. Also in the works a total new interactive website designed to continue delving into the Secrets of Dellschau and the artist’s possible connection to the Mysterious Flying Machine sightings of the early 1800s. It is our hope that by making available through the book and website all we know concerning this mystery that others will come forward with ideas and knowledge to further advance, or possibly even answer the question: What was Dellschau trying to tell us?”

cool tech - the Joule Thief…

Posted by keelynet on November 3, 2007

This circuit can be applied in lots of devices to squeeze juice from seemingly ‘dead’ batteries. No reason you couldn’t gang dead batteries together to milk totally dry!

joulethief.jpg“Video - Simple circuit to squeeze last drops of juice from batteries - The latest Weekend Projects video shows you how to build a “Joule Thief.” Bre Pettis explains: Windell Oskay of Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories joins me to teach you how to make a super clever little circuit called the Joule Thief! The Joule Thief allows you to squeeze the life out of what most people think of as “dead” batteries! We were inspired by Big Clive to make this project and it’s the perfect platform for a flashlight, book reading light, or really just something you should make to get more use out of your batteries! - Source / Make a Joule Thief - This circuit is a very small implementation of a typical transformer feedback single transistor invertor. The transformer was a standard ferrite bead with two windings wound on it and the circuit was using the high voltage pulse generated when the transistor turns off to light an LED from a single 1.5V battery. This page has two variations on the original design to use the simple circuit in a useful manner. The amazing thing about this circuit is that it will run right down to about 0.35V if left running continuously, and will often provide a week of continuous low level light from a battery that would normally be considered dead. The level of light is initially quite high but gradually reduces as the battery voltage goes lower. However, it can still be used for reading in a dark room, even when the battery is almost completely drained.- Source

more bogus terrorism insanity…

More fallout from the fear mongers trying to destroy all our rights, GO RON PAUL!

“Loss of tourism costs USA $100B, 200K jobs, $16B in tax revenue - The 17 percent decline in US tourism since September 11th, 2001 has had a devastating effect on the economy, costing nearly $100 billion (200,000 jobs, 16 billion in tax revenue). Visitors to the US from around the world rank the border procedures as among the worst on earth. “What affects travel and tourism affects our economy and our image around the world. Travel and tourism is the face of America, whether it’s people coming here or Americans going elsewhere,” he said. “It’s the person coming from India to look at a company in America for parts, or a person from South America who can’t get into the country for a conference because he can’t get a visa,” Dow said.

dia del muerto

Posted by keelynet on November 3, 2007

muerto.jpgHalloween and the Day of the Dead seem to live in perfect harmony in Mexico these days, to the chagrin of traditionalists. But the kids love it since they can trick or treat for candy, then celebrate with the sweet bread and treats served as part of the Day of the Dead festivities. I didn’t have my digital camera, only my cell, but took a photo of the two statues on display at the traffic light in Chapala.

transient.jpgWent bar hopping with friends and checked out the many altars paying homage to the dead. Walking back to my truck, I saw several people sleeping in the plaza. This happens a lot when people come here with little money, so they simply sleep on the streets. The cops don’t care as these people don’t cause problems.

The Cinco de Mayo street was completely closed to traffic as most houses put up an alter, so there was a steady procession of people viewing the displays, some quite exotic. Damn, didn’t take photos but need to get into the habit of that. And my friend Alvaro who runs the Gavilan bar lost his oldest son to a terrible bus and car accident this last year, so they had a very nice alter in the bar where many people came to pay their respects.
